Oil Bypass technology has been examined extensively and validated through many lab and the field studies over many years.  By providing you with some of the most important findings from these research efforts, we hope to give you a sense of what we’ve learned about this simple, but powerful technology.

The 10 micron number comes from multiple sources, but probably the best documentation is found in the U.S. Department of Energy Annual Progress Report for Heavy Vehicle Systems Optimization Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy FreedomCAR and Vehicle Technologies Program, Real-World Testing of an Advanced Filtration System, J.M. Cousineau, et. al., Pg. 148, Feb. 2004 https://www1.eere.energy.gov/vehiclesandfuels/pdf

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act - US Code - Title 15, Chapter 50 Section 2306, warranty coverage cannot be denied simply because aftermarket parts are present on the vehicle. A  service provider is permitted to outline terms for exclusion so long as they are clear and conspicuous.    The vast majority of contracts do not have product exclusion clauses. Assuming no such language and problems arise at a later date triggering a warranty denial, there is an obligation on the warrantor to show that there is a connection between the problem and the aftermarket parts.
