Pareto Point Industries Supports the ’’Fastest Police Car’’

Pareto Point Industries is providing technical support and its MagDog Complementary Magnetic Filtration System to Royce Branch, owner and driver of the Redondo Beach Police Department’s “6X11 IN PURSUIT,” the fastest police car in the United States.

August 4, 2008:  Redondo Beach, CA.  Pareto Point Industries is providing technical support and its MagDog Complementary Magnetic Filtration System to Royce Branch, owner and driver of the Redondo Beach Police Department’s “6X11 IN PURSUIT,” the fastest police car in the United States.   The vehicle, a 1988 Mazda RX-7 GTU with a small block 350 cubic inch Demon carbureted Chevrolet engine, produces 650 plus horsepower.  Officer Branch uses the car as a show vehicle, a racing vehicle, an educational vehicle for youths, and to teach track racing as an alternative to illegal street racing.

According to Branch, “My engine builder, Dennis Lightle, and I know that speed is dependent on fine balance, tuning, and maintenance. That is the reason that we use MagDog as an integral component of our maintenance and optimal performance program as we compete at Bonneville, El Mirage, and other racing venues.  I have complete confidence that the MagDog filtration system is doing exactly what it is designed to do.”

Indeed.  At Bonneville Speed Week this year, with its new engine, the first run at Bonneville was over 160 mile per hour!   The “Redondo Beach In Pursuit” (RBIP) Team made a dozen runs, with Branch taking the car at three quarters throttle to over 165 miles per hour!   Branch noted that “The car ran flawlessly.  We hope to take the car past 200 mph once it is broken in.   As the owner of the ‘Fastest Police Car in the United States,’ I take great pride in choosing the correct components for my car.  I thank PPI for designing and building a great product.”

PPI President Adan Reinosa, P.E., states that “We are extremely pleased and proud to support Royce.  The RBIP Team does an incredible job, and we particularly salute their great alternative to illegal street racing.  We are amazed at the number and range of venues they cover, including the Trump Superbowl Concourse De Elegance, John Force’s Car show, the California Highway Patrol’s ‘Toys for Tots’ Car Show, LAPD’s ‘Cruzing for a Cure’ Car Show, Uncle Mike’s, and more, in addition to many public service events, such as AYSO, Little League, and appearances at local schools.”   Apart from its racing features, the car itself is a trip.  When he approaches the starting line, Royce turns on the light bar, siren, and blasts out ‘Bad Boys,’ the theme from COPS.   See the contact information below to learn more about the ‘fastest police car in the Unites States,’ or about Pareto Point Industries and MagDog.
