Most spin-on full-flow filters are designed to trap debris within a range of 25 to 40 microns. And that is what they do. Because it does not contain a cellulose element, Phantom 10 can range from 15-25 microns. Additionally, our patented PBXF technology enables magnets strategically placed inside the filter casing to trap ferrous debris as small as 1-2 microns. Since these magnets also trap large ferrous debris, the full-flow filter’s potential load is somewhat reduced.
